On Education
If formal education is to be established by the idea that education should prepare students to "compete" β because competing means "developing" β then formal education would not be free from the mental constraint and anguish that it brings upon the student's failure to compete. Education is to fulfill, not to complete. Education should nurture basic needs to live without unnecessary dependencies on other aspects of society. What we see now is the other way around. It is not a war. We are not soldiers. We should come into class with a healthy mind and then come out with the same condition β not being scarred and traumatized. Call me unrealistic and ideologist as you like. You called it unrealistic because it doesn't fit your idea of realism.
